Terms of Service

By creating an account, booking a consultation, or otherwise using Tenachin's app, website, call center, or SMS gateway, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

Tenachin connects patients with licensed general practitioners, specialists, subspecialists, and allied health professionals through video, voice, and text. Services include consultations, e-prescriptions, lab referrals, follow-up care, and health education.

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Consultations for minors must be booked and supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

Care delivered on Tenachin is provided by independently licensed clinicians who exercise their own professional judgment. Diagnoses, prescriptions, and treatment plans are based on the information you provide — please share your symptoms and history honestly and completely.

Consultation and service fees are shown before you confirm a booking. Payments are processed through Tele Birr, Chapa, integrated health insurance, or CBE (Commercial Bank of Ethiopia). Fees are generally non-refundable once a consultation has started, except where required by law.

Digital prescriptions and lab referrals issued through Tenachin are valid at partner pharmacies and laboratories. It is your responsibility to follow up on lab requests and treatment instructions provided by your clinician.

To the fullest extent permitted by Ethiopian law, Tenachin is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or matters that cannot be limited by law.

We may suspend or terminate access to Tenachin for violations of these Terms, misuse of the platform, or fraudulent activity. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@tenachin.org.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Addis Ababa.
